About Me!
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm the owner of Sadie Bug's Quilts & More! I work from my home. I've been sewing since I was 16 years old. My Mother also was a sewer, and taught me everything she knew about the craft. When my parents become ill, I cared for them until they passed away about 8 years ago. While caring for them I got my hands wrapped around making quilts. I made 4 quilts while caring for them. When my parents passed, I made my brother and sisters each a quilt. They were made from my Mother's dresses, my Father's shirts and pictures from different points in their lives. I made myself a quilt of my Mom's life time line. It included pictures of all 5 of her children and my Father. My parent's baby pictures had their names, date of births, and date of passing on them. I also transferred a poem that my Mother wrote to me when I moved to Florida.
All my quilts and crafts can be made out of many different fabrics, textures, plain colors, and prints. As long as the fabric is available!! Quilts can even be made out of anyones own garments. It is all about you. The size and the design will very the cost of making the quilt. Most quilts are made when you place the order unless you purchase from the buy now section.
